DS Lite talking points!

I changed this thread to be a DS Lite talking points thread. First of all, I LOVE my new DS Lite!!! It's so sleek and way better than the brick I was playing before. Anyone have any DS Lite stories to tell (like Turbo......sorry man

)? Tell 'em here! I was also wondering....how many people actually ordered them from Japan/have a color other than polar white?

PS- I just noticed that we get kinda screwed....Europe gets the black version at launch

Lite go with it the lite will have better games and the genesis well I don't like it as much...

^Well, paying for the Nomad itself is a lot, then for LEDs and such.....maybe a better screen altogether, then buying the rechargeable Nomad battery pack......Those fees.

gp2x cant do n64, psp can at like 5fps. but gp2x has a better psx emulator than psp (pwned sony!)

Why do you need LEDs? A replacement screen I can sort of understand (isn't the Nomad passive-matrix? I mean it has ghosting right...) As for the battery pack, can't you get a battery holder from Radio Shack and wire up a plug that fits the Nomad?

And why do you absolutely need a Lite? It's functionally the same as the Hevy (there I said it, happy?

) but a bit smaller. The old one still works, so what difference does it make? If you want both and you're low on cash, you'll need to make sacrifices.

Or you can see about getting a loan from your folks or something...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure CronoTriggerFan sold his Hevy DS awhile ago and now wants to get a new one due to some good games (remember this from some other thread). If that's the case, then I'd say definitely go with the Lite, since you'd be able to play DS games again.
