Your right I took it out of context, and your completely right about worrying about other humans first, but animals still shouldn't be ignored--just bringing their conditions to light.
But to get anything done we first have to overcome human selfishness, governments and corportations could afford to help the starving etc, they just don't want to.
Communism\Socialism doesn't sound like such a bad idea... If it could be achieved without crooked rulers, and without making EVERYBODY poor.
