My school's computer admin sucks

Post by deadite »

A few years ago, she booted about 75 people (me included) for using dos to send messages. It wasn't even in our acceptable use policy that we couldn't. She added it the next year, though. I suppose it was probably from people did a bit more (me included) like shutting down computers remotely, or making it so that people couldn't do anything but look at continually repeating "You Suck" boxes.

Sounds just like my school. I just made a visual basic program that used the netsend command very fast and for a long time, too bad they disabled it i think. What also pisses of the admins is if you make a folder inside a folder untill the address for the last folder is 255 characters long, then when they go to back up the servers it crashes. Then you get banned :x

Are there any 3rd party security programs running? What OS? Any security server involved?

the problem at my school is that everything goes throught a central server so the only thing that runs on the individual comps is antivirus.... and some remote management, but not for long :P we just close that bad boy down, but still cant get to any fun settings :?
