I might get a 6amp one from there.
Well one pair of leads gives out voltage to the portable so you can play, and the other set takes in voltage from the charger, charging the cells.

How do you know which ones should charge and which one powers the portable? Or does it not matter, just use + and - for one and the other + and - for the other?

EDIT:

If they have a protection curcuit, they shouldn't overcharge, so they shouldn't blow you hands off.
To get more voltage, wire in sieres. The mah stay the same.
To get more mah, wire in parrallel. The voltage stays the same.
So, you can't increase both unless you use four and use a combination of sieres and parrallel wiring.

If you can charge and play with their chargers, please correct me.

EDIT:That battery costs $9 to ship, still $9.01 is a good deal.
