How do you know which ones should charge and which one powers the portable? Or does it not matter, just use + and - for one and the other + and - for the other?joevennix wrote:Well one pair of leads gives out voltage to the portable so you can play, and the other set takes in voltage from the charger, charging the cells.vskid wrote:How could you use them to charge and play at the same time?
I might get a 6amp one from there.
EDIT:
If they have a protection curcuit, they shouldn't overcharge, so they shouldn't blow you hands off.wait do li-ion batteies explode if you overcharge them and is it possible to wire batteries so that the voltage and the mah increases??
To get more voltage, wire in sieres. The mah stay the same.
To get more mah, wire in parrallel. The voltage stays the same.
So, you can't increase both unless you use four and use a combination of sieres and parrallel wiring.

codeman wrote:Well, if you want the camcorder style battery you should go to www.power101.com They have all generic batteries, i'm sure there's a difference between generic and "real" batteries, but i cant figure out what it is. They're super cheap too.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
Holy hell in a Hampsterball Batman is that a good deal!!! Buy like a dozen and play for days......vskid wrote:Ya, but I doubt you could charge and play at the same time with those.
If you can charge and play with their chargers, please correct me.
EDIT:That battery costs $9 to ship, still $9.01 is a good deal.
