And btw, Daedalus overclocks the PSP durring boot. It clocks to 333 Mhz. No-one really knows what this does, but so far, no-one has reported it harmfull! And also, all you guys who have to wait 20 minutes to load the game (To decompress) do this:
1.) Download Tool64, then load it up
2.) Convert rom to Little Endian (A B C D)
3.) Rename your converted rom from "Rom.n64" to "Rom.z64"
They should have ported Corn instead, it runs much faster and is more efficient than Daedalus. Most people haven't heard of Corn, but it works quite well running Mario 64 on a 200MHz Pentium II. Quite an achievement. Unfortunately its compatibility is limited.
there are still lots of texture problems and very low compatibilty, but it is nonetheless a huge improvement over earlier emu's that people would cheer for if you could hear the bootup music...
It took about 30 minutes for me to watch the intro movie in SM64, and get the first star after defeating King Bomb-omb. All of the textures in the first level are white, but its really not that hard to get around because of shadows and jagged edges etc...
StrmnNrmn and PSMonkey might collaborate and release a joint emu within the next few weeks/months... that would be so exciting
