A contradiction in G-Force's Plan!

Post by demonofaj »

Well apparently G-Force used the Pirated controller IC to fuel his controller board...but can I swap that with an IC from a NES controller (official). :?

The pull up resistors are so that the button presses register correctly. Otherwise if you just leave the button lines floating static can influence them and cause false presses.

Well you should still have another controller pad from the super joy 3 (they come with the player 1 controller and a player 2 controler) you could use it. Or buy bens book and he tells you how to wire up the NES controllers IC with resistors. Or I imagine if you look on google enough you coudl find a pinout somewhere.

Of if you think you're up to it, just use use a meter to find out the resistor value used for the weird black cheapie resistors on the NEs controller and then follow the traces on the NES controler to see how to wire the resistors to the IC.
