ok I really feel like crying right now. I connected all the wires to relocate the cart slot but when i plugged the adapter in something must have happened and now the power led wont turn on now. I tried to connect the adapter to another n64 but same thing -no power led.
Do I need to replace my adapter or did i fry my board? Please help!

You have a short somewhere (two wires crossing/touching each other.)
The power brick flipped its breaker to keep from frying itself. You N64 is most likely okay, and your power brick will reset in about a day's time.
Look carefully for spots where you may have messed up. Check for little bits of solder, turn the board upside down and shake it to see if anything falls off.
