Well, did you test it with a multimeter to see the amount of voltage going into the NOAC? And also make sure your grounds are tightly connected...because if you are missing one ground, the whole thing may not turn on. Keep on trying though, goodluckvb_master wrote:Hooked up 4 AA's, nothing happened. I hope I didn't fry it.

Ok, I got a new NOAC from SgtBowhack, and it works great. This project is still active. I've painted the case black, and mounted the new NOAC I had to bend the crystal a lot to let the case go on, but the new NOAC is much, much smaller than they SuperJoy III. All I need is a screen, batteries (it can run on 6v, maybe lower. I think I'll use a 9v though). I need to replace the wires with IDE because the current wires are bad quality.

Yeah, thanks for avoiding the swear filter.Kenny_McCormic wrote:son of a b.i.t.c.h that was my idea but mine will be better with a cat slot with carts that slide down the back controller inside the case ect
Anyways - I have the video conversion board inside (as well as my custom perfboard video/audio/power connections), I needed to add the 2 back expansion, so It will be as thick as originally planned. I'm looking out for a screen, but I think my friend will sell my his PSOne screen for $20.

2. That was completely uncalled for.
3. Don't dodge the word filter. It's there for a reason!
4. Poor kitty!
