ps2 controller to pc built into case mod!!!

Nice mod. I have the same USB adapter thingy as you do so I can follow your how-to exactly.

BTW, people... In the past I have made my own PS->Parallel controller adapters before without using diodes and it worked just fine with NTPad.

As for dedicated emulation machine...that would be, my Xbox

Even tho i emulate on my PC, if i ever do emulate on my PC, its usually emulating, a PC

Can someone make a picture or just a list of what PS2 color wire goes to what pin on the parrallel cable? (ex: White/4)

And in referrence to an emulation-only pc, this project goes great with the dsl distro in the works. Too bad my only tester can't test (the cd always gets lost in the mail

). Do these adapters have linux drivers, or do you think I would be able to use them with some kind of generic one?

I have some random adaptor that cost me Â£10, i'd love to have a laptop with tv-out and built in ps2 ports myself, but you can't have everything.

I built mine using the Playstation schematic at the DirectPad Pro site. I just didn't use diodes like the schematic shows and it still worked fine.

I built my Genesis adapter from NTPad's second interface schematic. Works great too since it alows for two players.

I also use the recomended diodes. No point in skiping steps unless your later trouble shooting.

Now I just gota start my PS interface. Probably hide it behind my useless USB door.
