Finally! NES expansion port info!!!
Well, I found out what the NES expansion port was going to be used for! According to http://www.game-machines.com/consoles/nes.php , Nintendo had plans to develop a multiplayer tap for the system, but it was never released. Is this accurate?

Ya, I guess I'm a little slow at discovering this kinda stuff... And yes, I am a HUGE Bruce Lee fan! He's the reason I started doing martial arts! And Gannon, I was mistaken in my wording... the expansion port attachment is not meant as a multitap, but to link several NES systems wirelessly, I believe.
Really the unreleased NES disk drive is the only thing that used the Expansion port. And to explain why the NES version never came out was that the Japanese kind of failed. In Japan people were making copies of games off the Famicom disk drive floppies. As the U.S. was the computer place in the '80s they couldn't release something like that it would just cost them more lost money.
I think the unlreased N64 DD was just crap. I would have been interested in seeing what they had for that, as the only game I heard they offered was a N64 vesrion of Mario Paint. But sill to just not even try.
Every thing else on the list were just things Nintedo licensed. How do I know, there is no GameGenie, so it's obvious that they're only licensed accessories.
