If I put it in a CRT, I'd have to put an LCD up front, and I don't want to spend much money on it. I just can't leave well enough alone. I've seen a couple of printer mods, none turned out very good. I don't have any book I'd want to cut up.

That's tempting. I've not seen a PC in an evelope before, much less one addressed to SpongeBuell. I think that'd actually would be neat!
Of course, I have no intention of
sending it to you, but addressed to you I could do.

My newest one is small enough to fit in a wiskey bottle, but this one is too big. If I drank, I'd be tempted to pick up a pony keg and put it in that.

Can't. My apartment came furnished, and I'm not allowed to mod any of it.
Looking through Mini-ITX.com before heading out, I came across a couple of Lego cases. I think I'll make a case out of them for this project. I still have a bunch (a few thousand) from when I was younger. If I don't have enough peices, Wal-Mart has a 800 peice mostly plain old bricks pack for $20.
To make mine different from the Lego cases on there, I'm going to have wheels on it, that also drive a Lego radar dish in circles. I'm also going to see how well I can intergrate the slot-load drive into the case.
