Our snow day was actaully only based a little on the snow. We didn't get more than 2 mm of freezing rain. It's just bcause that over here a bunch of people (plows, teachers, etc.) were planning to go on strike. So instad of the added pressure of dealing with all that stuff, they just said screw it EVERYBODY take the day off.
And we get a week off in March too.
SNOW DAY!!!

I just heard that an "illegal strike" might happen.
An illegal strike is when essential services go on strike.
I don't quite know what good that will do me, but strikes are fun to watch!

Yeah...sure...In grade 6, we had a teacher strike that lasted a month. It was great.
