SNOW DAY!!!

Our snow day was actaully only based a little on the snow. We didn't get more than 2 mm of freezing rain. It's just bcause that over here a bunch of people (plows, teachers, etc.) were planning to go on strike. So instad of the added pressure of dealing with all that stuff, they just said screw it EVERYBODY take the day off.

And we get a week off in March too.

I haven't had a good snow since November. I live in Indiana and we've had the worst weather this winter. 15, 20, 48, 59, 22, you get my drift?

Well, here in the empire state, we had snow on sunday, so I got a three-day weekend. Then, wens. and thurs. it's been 50+ degrees, so the 23in.+ is all melting, and everything is wet and stanky. Darn global warming, with its strange weather shifts.

I live in the Bay Area. It never snows, but right now (that's 4 in the afternoon), it's maybe 10 above freezing.

I miss El Centro :(

The snow that was supposed to hit me passed to the south, so other than a little flurry action there wasn't any snow.

I just heard that an "illegal strike" might happen.
An illegal strike is when essential services go on strike.

I don't quite know what good that will do me, but strikes are fun to watch!

I remember in grade...uh...grade...6???

Yeah...sure...In grade 6, we had a teacher strike that lasted a month. It was great.
