Companies that want to build a good vision of themselves or their product will sometimes extend their warranty if you ask nice enough. I'd say with all the bad press the 360 has gotten, it will be a cold day in heck before they turn someone down for warranty repairs (unless you've been modding it or making grilled cheese sandwhiches in it that is)

As a mechanic I did a lot of 3 year 36,000 mile warranty work on cars with almost 100k miles on them for Ford and Dodge.

But spongey, it would never happen to anything Nintendo. Nintendo CARES about their products. THey care so much, they delay games to no end, like twilight princess and hunters...

hey, at least there are SO many other games to play on the GC right now :D!!!

like....um...well...there was....er...wait...I know! there's...um....ok, THERE AREN'T!!!

except for Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, though it's not an exclusive...it's still pretty damn good!

I just rented the two thrones. Almost have it beat, I would definatly have to agree with you... Freakin awsome game.

Woohoo the repair box came! Next Day Air by UPS, I am amazed about how much they care about us. It's sent should be there tommorow morning, and I will get it back Wensday hopefully!

Man, i've never had to send anything away to get repaired but the waiting must be agonizing. You know, walking into where you keep your 360 and going, "hmmm I think i'm gonna play some Xbox 360 today", and then be like, "Oh crap I can't ;_; ".

I wouldn't be able to do it, I have plenty of other things to do, but there would be those moments where it just sliped my mind.

I have my Xbox rigged up in there now, so it's almost the same! :wink:

You guys only get a 90 day warranty on electrical stuff over there?

In the UK, we always get a minimum 12 month guarantee on electrical stuff (we normally get offered extended warranty but that's another story!).

My Xbox was bought from a second hand shop and even that has a 6 month guarantee.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.
