"I have a 1992 VW Transporter van with a blown engine. It's costing me £15 a day parked where it is so please someone take it sooner rather than later. Unfortunatly I don't have any photos, so here's a disturbing picture of me eating a sandwich and another picture explaining why you shouldn't do acid."
We've had ebay honesty, now.... weirdness!

Here's my translation of the advert:

I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

He's added photos of the van now:

Hmm.... what is now more disturbing is that the "Herbie" also seems to be his car! Imagine kids walking past and thinking "Cool! It's Herbie" and then seeing that guy behind the wheel!

I do have to say, if the guy wasn't as scary and the van nearer to where I live, I would proberbly put a bid in (particularly if it went for less than £10!). I've got a spare VW Jetta engine which would fit. It's got 10 months MOT (annual UK road worthiness test)
Paul, you're a brave man to phone him!
I don't have the guts to do that... and most of my drinking buddies are hells angels!

This is where he got the picture from.joevennix wrote:No... the picture of the guy in the eBay auction... It's cowsgoquack's avatar as well believe.
I considered using the "talking Bugs" as an avatar too.
Hmm.... two bids and now it's at £1.20!
