Yes, and smart media cards are not as thick as sd cards, so they might have less volume. Also, xd cards are smaller than both of them. And the micro sd cards are just downright insane.

What about SIM chips? You know the little SD like chips that go in your cell phone. You could fit some 8bit games on one of those, after all they have a 64k capacity.

Don't forget MMC (MultiMediaCard)! They're the size of SD cards, except half as thick. They're mainly for use in cell phones. As for the smallest cart for an actual gaming device (that can't be used in other devices like a digital camera or computer), it has to be the DS. Those things are like half the volume of an CF card.

Edit: CF, not SD :oops:
