If you don't have a DVI moniter, try this card:

If your buying a new video card and you have either AGP or PCI-E, there is absolutely NO reason to get anything below a 6600GT, if you do, I would have to say you would just be wasting money.

because you are limited by agp slots, i would go with either an ati 9800xt or 9600xt. I have the latter of the two, it is about $50 cheaper and i love it. My cuz has the former and he says it works great.

I have a 9600 XT. Works great for games. Keep in mind that a better proccesor is more important than RAM. My friend thnks his card (cant rember the anme, I think it's an Nvidia MX card) is so much better than mine since its 256MB and mine has 128MB. But his is really quite slow, and mine is not. I just let him think his is better.Trv wrote:because you are limited my agp slots, i would go with either an ati 9800xt or 9600xt. I have the latter of the two, it is about $50 cheaper and i love it. If you buy form ATI's site, they somtimes have a $50 off deal if you trade in your old graphics card. I sent them an old 4MB card and got $50 off mine!
i have the same radeon 9600xt. i dont play many games, but the card is oh so sexy. it overclocks pretty well too. i think i got it up to like 150%. i dont remember if it crashed after a while or not though...
anyhow. ati rules because they are canadian.
