Don't get a gf4 mx 4000! It's basically a faster GF2 and that's it (Not to mention the terrible drivers!)

If you don't have a DVI moniter, try this card:

i have seen dvi to vga adaptors. They make them for macs so that they can use projectors........they are very cheap...but yeah....that second one is good for the price......it's really too bad you don't have pci-e.

If your buying a new video card and you have either AGP or PCI-E, there is absolutely NO reason to get anything below a 6600GT, if you do, I would have to say you would just be wasting money.

because you are limited by agp slots, i would go with either an ati 9800xt or 9600xt. I have the latter of the two, it is about $50 cheaper and i love it. My cuz has the former and he says it works great.

Wouldn't come with a couple DVI-VGA adapters?

I have a 9600 XT. Works great for games. Keep in mind that a better proccesor is more important than RAM. My friend thnks his card (cant rember the anme, I think it's an Nvidia MX card) is so much better than mine since its 256MB and mine has 128MB. But his is really quite slow, and mine is not. I just let him think his is better.

If you buy form ATI's site, they somtimes have a $50 off deal if you trade in your old graphics card. I sent them an old 4MB card and got $50 off mine!

I fully agree with sniper_spike on this point. An agp 6600GT from newegg is your best possible choice.
