I just unpacked my DS, and plugged it into the wall, and played it to see if it had the problem with dead/pixles staying the same color (described here on ds.ign.com). Mine didn't have the problem ( ). I played both Metroid: First Hunt and Super Mario 64 DS. I didn't even get into playing the Super Mario game, I was stuck messing with the draw a charachter, and stretch it thing. This is awesome, buy one.
I thought I'd just mention something about my GBA flash cart. I have a Flash Advance 64M, the old first one. In order to get it all the way in, I really had to jam it in there. Then, when I wanted to take it out, I couldn't pull it out with my bare hands. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it out. So I already have a couple of minor scratches on my DS now. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

If you're talking about those A/V adpaters for GBA SP then, yeah, maybe they'll work. Guess I'd have to try. But would you really want to use a DS as a screen in a portable? It's rather heavy compared to the GBA.
To qoute a great man (Ben) "The nintedo ds just seems like a big gimmik to me. I don't really see why it has two screes or a stylus. Wait I know why it has a stylus- its so you can lose it and buy another one for $9"
