I just unpacked my DS, and plugged it into the wall, and played it to see if it had the problem with dead/pixles staying the same color (described here on ds.ign.com). Mine didn't have the problem ( :) ). I played both Metroid: First Hunt and Super Mario 64 DS. I didn't even get into playing the Super Mario game, I was stuck messing with the draw a charachter, and stretch it thing. This is awesome, buy one.

I thought I'd just mention something about my GBA flash cart. I have a Flash Advance 64M, the old first one. In order to get it all the way in, I really had to jam it in there. Then, when I wanted to take it out, I couldn't pull it out with my bare hands. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it out. So I already have a couple of minor scratches on my DS now. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

If you're talking about those A/V adpaters for GBA SP then, yeah, maybe they'll work. Guess I'd have to try. But would you really want to use a DS as a screen in a portable? It's rather heavy compared to the GBA.

also, the gba av adapter drains battery life from the GBA SP.....at least it seemed to on my first N64p.....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

To qoute a great man (Ben) "The nintedo ds just seems like a big gimmik to me. I don't really see why it has two screes or a stylus. Wait I know why it has a stylus- its so you can lose it and buy another one for $9"

Well i dont know about losing the stylus, it seems pretty firm when it's in its slot and plus the ds comes with an extra one (atleast mine did)
