yes you can, may i recommend a ide to cf adapter......it will help... a lot, you dont need the hard drive really, its just used for the dashboard and the gamesaves, my friend actually took the hard drive out

and he can still play games, but he lost all saves and his dashboard dont boot up.

yay or get a modded ipod drive and do some expensave PSu work.

i'm working on a xbox laptop thats why i wanted the size and i still need it cause i'm trying to find a ~$30 xbox but i have everything planned out just need most of the parts and i have reasons to why i wasn't going to tell you like it won't get done till summer or will i answer any ? on it
