thats great! but at the same time thats terrible! your saving a lot of decent systems from anhilation, but your creating noob "modders" that run around claiming their "master modders" i have mixed feelings about that

today i managed to get my hands on a Homita portable DVD player, its roughly 7yrs old, after taking this apart i plan to sell off all the peices. flat 5.5in (aproximate) screen with speakers, dvd tray and circuitry, and if anyone wants a case to use towards a portable station. pictures coming as ...

add on vacuum forming

you'll hear this from a lot of people but, make a vacuum former, get good practice with it, and if your trying to get a retro clear look, just vaccum form around all the oringinal casing parts it will be close to the oringinal shape and size and you can make it almost any color. and as eurddrue said ...

depending how much time your devoting to this project, i'm building a tinted plexiglass case using tube plexi, flat plexi, apoxy, and that auto tinting spray. basically you use a dremel or equivilent tool to cut out the shapes you want to inmitate the retro look. then apoxy. i would suggest getting ...

i found estreetplastics.com when i was searching for a good plastic former and they sell some pre-frosted plastic that looks a lot better then the sanded plastic. as for the leds.... yeah its just my preference, im practicing with a few nintendo 64s before i move on to my xbox and xbox 360
