Oooh, please do. Diagrams are fun!

Also, I've just resoldered the controller to the board again with what has to be the best soldering I'll probably ever do...at least tonight...and it's still the same thing. I'm wondering if perhaps the controller itself is fried...

I will admit that the first ...

Okay, definitely good to know.

Damn, that foils my master plan of circumventing splitting the controller (I won't ask)

One question remains then: how can one have an integrated controller on a portable while leaving the four controller ports (including port 1) fully functional and intact?

Not ...

Would they not just work in conjunction rather than cancel each other out?

Controller...

Mmmkay, I tried to solder the GC controller to the controller mobo by the pinout on this post, and, although it turned on and everything LOOKED okay, the controller wouldn't actually work, and neither would the actual port until I desoldered the connections.

Anything I'm not considering?

Damn, was afraid of that...I saw the posts made earlier and waas hoping to be hardcore or something and use just the one...Besides, using 2 is nominally more expensive (once I screw it up, that is :P)

Oh well, at least you seem to be taking it rather well. You did it once, you can do it again.

You're all gonna hate me, but (and I know this has been asked before, but) In soldering the gamecube controller back together, I find myself at a loss as to what to solder where. I've already cut it, but...do I just basically solder what I've broken, or...? And if someone could recommend a type of ...

thanks... Funny thing is, I had registered this account a while back...right around the time Gamelver was in the process of making his first GCp, though for the life of me, I don't know what my post would've been...regardless, I'm not stuck just yet, I'm sorta hoping I WON'T get stuck, I've been ...

Hi, GCp

I'm in the process of building one and I've been scanning the forums trying to get by without asking for help, mostly because the questions I DO ask are probably gonna be horribly noobish. The question I have is: is anyone gonna care significantly if I ask a lot of noobish questions? (I'll keep it ...

Casio TV-1400

After browsing the internet for about 4 hours, I realized that perhaps I should just ask, regardless of how many people might beat me over the face with a silicon stick for a dumb question but...

I got a Casio TV-1400 off a friend and I wanna know if its worth taking the screen from.
