I'm in the process of building one and I've been scanning the forums trying to get by without asking for help, mostly because the questions I DO ask are probably gonna be horribly noobish. The question I have is: is anyone gonna care significantly if I ask a lot of noobish questions? (I'll keep it to a minimum)

thanks... Funny thing is, I had registered this account a while back...right around the time Gamelver was in the process of making his first GCp, though for the life of me, I don't know what my post would've been...regardless, I'm not stuck just yet, I'm sorta hoping I WON'T get stuck, I've been searching the forum pretty thoroughly, but if I do ask, it'll be for clarification and it'll probably sound pretty simplistic but my experience with electronics is...muddled, at best.

Oh well, this'll be a learning experience

If the questions you have are not ones that are basic things that can be found easiy. I mean like voltage, current draw, how do I connect controller, A/V pinout, ect. All of those can be found here and on other sites.

If you do find yourself needing clearification, ask. We're not going to kill you for asking something you can't figure out easily.

Don't worry Eskimo, I have plenty of noob questions and nobody has complaind... yet (though I do atleast try, but fail miserably, to keep my questions to a minimum...

). Anyway most people aren't angry, if they were I would have been in trouble. But anyway, if you have as many questions as me (which I think you'll have less questions probably) then you're ok

You're all gonna hate me, but (and I know this has been asked before, but) In soldering the gamecube controller back together, I find myself at a loss as to what to solder where. I've already cut it, but...do I just basically solder what I've broken, or...? And if someone could recommend a type of wire to use, or (more importantly) any that I definitely COULDN'T use, that'd be awesome...

it is gonna be really hard to use the one if you cut it completely in half, what you wanna do is get a broken controllor (the one you just sliced in half) and slice it in half then wire the buttons from the not sliced in half controllor to the sliced in half one

Damn, was afraid of that...I saw the posts made earlier and waas hoping to be hardcore or something and use just the one...Besides, using 2 is nominally more expensive (once I screw it up, that is
