No they are fine, or at least worked for me. The best thing I can say is solder directly to an old game that you KNOW will work on the radica. So many mistakes and an old cart slot make it easy to solder by nasty to find out where your traces were off. Buy a multimeter.

Sonic and Knucles Playable on radica!!!

Wow just seen DevSter's page after an earlier post by dman762000.

Has anyone tried it, the bank switching would make sense. This means radica can be a full genesis replacement.

Basically yes, you might have to put a switch on the card adapters ground line as well.

Switching on pin 1 is difficult as the point is so small.

Holy Grail is good especially the bit with the average wind speed of a swallow. However Life of Brian is so much better.

Modded xboxs do work on live but you need a modchip. Read about marrage theory on xbox scene.

As for recovering from a bad soft mod if all else fails you can reformat the hard disk and copy over a new file system. You'll need the hdd key but if it plays games thats not hard to get. Xbox scene has ...

I'm thinking of using a simple unloaded voltage divider straight from the battery pack to get my +5v line. Does anyone see any problem using this?

Here's a few pictures of the working portable, no back yet so its all taped down. I first tried using a GBO but my screen circuit board was too bit ...

I would like to as well but it quite difficult unless you know what your doing. I think someone got the specs for one of the chips and traced them back, maybe they changed chips. I think the tread is in forum 42 regarding the original radica.

Both were on the megadrive.

So why would radica spend more money on an entire new system with remarkable similarities to there other megadrive based system but use a non goac chip. It doesn't make sence.

The most logical reasoning based on the outputs of the existing globtops, the rom pinouts and ...
