i have a slight understanding of what im doing now, but still im am confused, the second slot on the psone lcd controller doesn't get plugged in but the composite wires are on that side?? are parts on both slots linked on the motherboard or something??

so basically if i had tried to go the hard way about it and have better quality picture using RGB then i would have the green screen problem??

this is considered a composite connection isn't it? what will the quality be like and will i have this green screen problem hooking it up using the pins on the psone lcd controller

so video (yellow) to slot 2 pin 1
slot 2 pins 2 and 3 are the left and right audio
and the surrounding wire around the cables is the ground. If i do this mod and also the 5v mod will my ps2 work on the psone screen, will it play dvds and dvd games tho????

so basically i can connect the screen using the pins in which the av cords usually connect to, and moding the screen so it has 5v and it will work on my sony, but if i want RGB (better quality) it will be green screen??

What type is the threee cords red yellow white (is it a composite connection)

the diagram for rgb has more wires than the other,i only have the yellow red white and round wires, no green or blue..???

but a reply above said i can't play ps2 dvd games on it

how do i connect rgb with these three cables?

so will hooking it up like i said work just it has a lower quality?

i still am having problems, do i connect the yellow to the composite (slot2 pin 1), red and white to slot 2 pin 2 & 3, and the sorrounding cords (grounds?) connect to slot 2 pin 4. After this and the 5v power mod... will my ps2 connect to this.

I've also been told that dvd games won't work, why ...

its model number is SCPH-300002 R and it has a modchip which runs through DVD Region X which i also have, but it needs a new dvd drive

Why is this, if i have a proggie that runs a hd and there is both a cd and dvd version if i could get it to boot of the ps2 in cd mode and play the games from my hdd, would this work?

Well what happened is i had a quick look through my expansion bay to see a bit of dust, i blew this all out but then worried about whethre it would have gone on the lens, i then cleaned the lens with a cotton bud, but after this i start it like usual and i place a disc in and it says 'reading disc ...
