Battery and Power. Help me make sense
Looking at the wiring diagram a lot of people use. It says you ca use a 9 Volt battery, a majority of the modders use a 7.2 volt DVD battery. If the N64 requires 12 and 3.3 volts how do you achieve the 12 volts needed. I know you can use the TI chip to get 3.3, but am I missing something to get the ...

For the resistor how many watts do we need? will 1/2w work following that diagram?

After asking some questions I will begin creating my portable. This is for a school project. So far I have disassembled the PS1 Screen.

Alright so even though the diagram asks for 2k the 2.2k will work just fine? Will there be any noticeable difference in the final product?

Following the main wiring diagram, it asks for a 2k Ohm Resistor. Radioshack sells a 2.2k, what is the difference between 2.2k and 2k and does it matter?
