Ok So it turns out that the screen issue was my fault. In hacking the screen, there is a connection that needs to be shorted so the screen will permanently accep audio/video input. I had shorted this.

Ok, so I've managed to get the LED's to power on...appears that even though in the book, the +5v spot is pin 6 form the bottom right of the tv screen, for me it appears to be pin 7....found that out quite by accident when I was trying to use my multimeter to detect a current, and ended up shorting 6 ...

Ok, so I'm at the step with my PSOne CNC, where I test it before I do the controller hookups. 2 Problems

1) Led mod is not lighting up
2) No audio(sort of)

I have tried to troubleshoot the LED mod, though all to be wired correctly, (checked with my multimeter) but there is no life from the LED's ...

I am at the step in the book for the CNC playstation where I need to solder the 5mm led to the controller. Not a biggie except for the fact that the controller I have seems to have an LED build into the board...I am using the controller that has the ribbon cable in the center of it, and the LED ...

Since nobody seems to know the pinout of this controller and how it relates to the book's CNC cut playstation handheld. I went ahead and mapped the pins myself... The document i created can be found at
