I got an idea for putting a rechargable battery pack into a GBC (such as a PSP or DS pack, instead of the 2 AA batteries), and although I'm probably not the first one to think of this, I want to know if this is possible, and if so, how do I go about doing this?

I am currently in the process of modding my gbc, and I want to change the LED for the power light so that it changes from green to red when the power gets low(like the gbasp). Can someone explain to me how to do this? Is this a complicated mod?
