GBC Power LED

I am currently in the process of modding my gbc, and I want to change the LED for the power light so that it changes from green to red when the power gets low(like the gbasp). Can someone explain to me how to do this? Is this a complicated mod?

I would ask Daftmike. He's very good at writing up circuits on the spot, and recently made a low-battery indicator one. I'm sure it wouldn't be very difficult to do a bit of tweaking to have the LED change to red when the battery is low. Here's a link to the original circuit.
