Rechargable Battery for GBC

I got an idea for putting a rechargable battery pack into a GBC (such as a PSP or DS pack, instead of the 2 AA batteries), and although I'm probably not the first one to think of this, I want to know if this is possible, and if so, how do I go about doing this? :?

yes, use the built in charging jack
