The ac/dc adapter is input 100-240v~1.8A 50/60hz and output is 19v,3.16a
There is a circuit board attached to the cells and it holds the connection to the laptop with 5 wires/pins.

It has an input line for power but I'm not sure how the power gets from the jack to the connection to the lithium cells. the battery pack has been opened up and it appears that there is a small circuit board that attaches to the cells, but still not sure how the power travels across the motherboard ...
