2nd screen on a Dual screen DVD player

I bought a Walmart brand (Durabrand) portable DVD player years ago. It has dual screens. I never use the second LCD in the car and thought with this screen and my old N64 in the attic, I have something to start with. Still not sure where to go with the case, have no clue about making that, but I just wanted to make sure this LCD would work and anyone's help here would be great.

As I said, it is a Durabrand widescreen LCD. The 2nd screen has composite in for video and audio. It has a speaker built in, so that's nice. It has adjustment knobs for colour and brightness, a switch for widescreen or normal screen mode, and on/off switch and a volume dial.

Based on what I have read so far, I could use it because it has composite in jacks, but here's the catch. One additional switch on the screen is to change from AV/In composite jacks to the DIN input jack. This jack connects the main screen/DVD player to this second screen. I'm fairly certain that this is also where I get power to the 2nd screen. I just fear that the only way to get the power to this LCD would be to go through the main screen and into the DIN. I'm hoping I'm wrong but thought I'd ask.

You should be able to open it up and figure out where the power goes after it goes into the screen. If you have a multimetre you can test how much voltage comes off the main DVD player. Then you just use batteries that voltage or build something to knock the voltage down to what you need.

If you can open it up and take some pictures and find out how much power goes into that second unit it woudl be easeir to tell you exactly how to make it work.
