Digi-Key? I will check it out, if I can get the chips thats great.
Im using them to build my own PCB for an arcade cabinet and new chips would
be much nicer then trying to un-soilder old ones.

My pic worked when I posed it but then it went away, but thats what Im looking at
not to mention the soilder points look like crap too...
So what can I do? find 2 NES controllers or a orional SNES?
And will the 2 NES chips work together like I am thinking?

After looking at Schematics it looks like the NES controller uses a 4021 chip for all the controls,
