When or how did you find out Santa doesnt exist?

When or how did you guys find out santa doesnt exist? my story is that i was like 7 years old and i sneaked out of bed at like 10pm. (which was very late at the age i was ) I was going to see how many presents santa was giving me and if he was there. I tip-toed down my stairs expecting to see an old fat man in a red suit with little elves helping him unload his loot when i saw my parents carrying presents from the car. I asked them what they were doing and if they killed santa and stole the presents. They said no they didnt kill him then the told me he doesnt exist. I was somewhat sad but what the hell, i still get presents!!!

To this day i still think they killed him.

There was a year where my view of Santa really changed temporarily. It wa the year I first heard the songs "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" and "The Night Santa Went Crazy", when I was younger. I figured it out when I was 7, when I woke up in the middle of the night because my radio started running the emergency alert system buzzing, and I heard my folks putting the presents out. I only let it on to my folks that I knew the truth when I was nine. Hey wouldn't you have played along for a couple years if it meant more free stuff?

I found out bcause for easter my mom was like "i hope i got the right sized shirt" and i looked at her and then she told me about santa and the easter bunny and stuff. But i had guessed it. My older sister who is 20 now found out when i was 4 and she was 10 she found my tricycle gift and askd why my parents had it not santa.

Im not quite sure but i believe I was like 7 when I saw the race track i wanted under my parents bed. Then when I was about 10 I found all of my teeth the 'tooth fairy' had taken.
