2. ABBA? Dancing Queen remix was OK, most of it, however, isn't all that great IMO.

Jeez you think
tapes are old?! Not counting MP3s, a third of my music collection is LPs and 45s!

Aah, kids today...

j/k
thank Allah that someone listens to vinyl.
Yup. And on a vintage 1975 Sony ps-77 turntable, too.

In fact, ALL my stereo system is ghetto/retro.
The retro parts:
-said turntable
-Realistic tape deck (2x, one with ASMS, which can automatically skip entire tracks.)
-Realistic 10 band equalizer with seperate sets of sliders for each speaker
-Sony reciever w/ digital tuner, ca. 1988
-2 Realistic speaker boxes retrofitted with new Aiwa subwoofers
The ghetto parts:
-24x CD-ROM drive for CD playback
-custom cable to connect said CD ROM drive to reciever
And of course I have an FM transmitter for my compy so I can play MP3s on kickarse speakers.

(actually my piecemeal compy speaker set sounds pretty good...)
Actually I'm somewhat of an audiophile. (I can tell the difference when an MP3 is compressed below 128kb/sec, and I actually prefer the warm sound of analog sources over digital. I actually pull the midrange up a bit so simulate iton Media Player or XMMS, but it's not the same...)
