Yes you go to college when you are 16 years old.
This is after secondary school.

But secondary school starts at 13-14, ends at 17-18. Unless you're some form of genius.masterclas wrote:Errrr what do you mean genius.

Re: Electronics course
So? I did that. Actually, since it was a summer course, I technically went to college before high school.aceboy44 wrote:15 and going to college?
Also: masterclas is from England. Here's a conversion chart for ya:
US, Elsewhere in the world
grade school=primary school
middle school=secondary school
high school=college
college=university
...iirc. I could be wrong on a few of those. But I do distinctly remember the high school=college one from a French class I took.
But anyway, back on topic. Expect to learn a bunch about Ohm's law, Kirchoff's current and voltage laws, and other stuff typically helpful to basic electronics. I didn't get any soldering help from my first electronics class

Are those ages approximate for September or June? Sounds like June to me.bicostp wrote:I don't know about the rest of the country/world but here's what the grades look like in MA (with approximate ages):

Re: Electronics course
For the benheckers still in college:
A lot of states offer some sort of program where you can take college classes instead of high school classes. Then you get real college credits and high school credits at the same time. About 6 of us at my school do it and its great. They pay for your classes and your books. Might wanna look into it. In Ohio its called PSEO.
