i was going to add some leds to my NES and I was wondering where to
solder them

Solder the positive side to the 5V from the 7805's "O" pin, and the negative leg to the grounding strip along one of the sides, going though a resistor. It should look like this:
The resistor can go on either side of the LED, but it has to be equal to or greater than the value found using this formula:
R=(B-F)/I
R is the minimum resistor value you need, P is your battery voltage, F is the voltage used by your LED, and I is the max current that your LED can handle.
I have to save that formula and description, because I am tired of typing it out.
