hipgear volume to the gameboy volume???

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Well, if G-force could do it, the pots are probably the same value. Just make yourself a custom board. I think the schematics for it are around here somewhere…

if the pots are the same value, desolder the one on the hip gear and solder it to the coresponding pins on the gameboy's pot

Okay I will have a pic of what to do when I get the page up. But until then, mess with the multimeter and try to figure it out.

This should help you a bit, if you are looking at it from the side (the gameboy rotated 90 degress left) and face on, the pinout is like this:
(you will see 5 pins sticking up from the pot)

pin 1 is Ground, pin 2 is not used, pin 3 is audio in from the Hip Gear amp, pin 4 is audio out to the Hip Gear amp.

And then you just replace the Hip Gear sound pot with the GB one :)

Probably not for a while yet. I've been really sick and I have been busy making a better site for all my stuff. I would guess 2-3 weeks and it will be done.
