Do you know when you bought it, because if I remember correctly its all DCs before October 2000.
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

Look at the label on the bottom of the DC. If there is a circled "1", then it can play burnt CDs. If there is a circled "2", then it cannot.

See this is why I downloaded the utopia2nero program. It coverted the utopia cd image in to one nero can read and I have yet to have a problem. I have only burned 3 games, but that is still a good sign.

Also look on google for a way to make/add dummy files to the iso. Reason being if you have this dummy file at the start of the disc it saves the GD-rom from going bad. And if you dont know dummy files are files that have nothing but 0s in them.

nero is not a good progam to make DC game discs with

Alcohol 120% or Discjuggler are best

Thats not true soundwave.

I have a Dreamcast with a circled 2 and it plays burnt disc's un moddified.
I run DC Linux on it.
Its a OCT 2000 Model.
Possibly the very early ones could do it, that or its just the case?

well it works none the less :)

EDIT:
Discjuggler is all I use, never had a problem :)
