well, I have finally got pictures of the screen. I did not test rgb with y genesis, but used composite. same situation as before. It is definitely the screen I unhooked the gensis, and turned up the volume, and the gren volume bar was dark purple instead.
Sonic has turned into his evil brother shadow... Is your screen ribbon cable loose?

I think we should check to see if you can withstand 220 volts
It's not the screen itself, it's your power supply.
1) Try +5V to pin 12 (It looks like you've done this already)
2) What battery/power source are you using? Specs? Any circuits in between? I know the zenith screens have a power circuit board, get rid of that if you're still using it.

well, none of my n64p's have worked, other than the first one, and then tonight, I set my n64p on a big sheet of paper (like somebody reccommended in F42) and it WORKED! I have thought of everything possible, yet, none of it has worked for you...
He already tried 5v to pin 12, kurt_.

I got rid of the power board, am using the zenith power adapter, and as drue said, I connected 5v to pin 12.
I tried reconnecting it several more times, then somehow the backlight stopped working. I was going to LED mod it anyway, but not if the whole screen doesn't work. I am willing to believe that I seriously have a curse on me, because despite connecting everything as he pinouts show, nothing ever seems to work right. The same curse applies to the failed famiclam, the genesis laptop ( didn't post about it), and several other things.
And just so you know, I'm not spending one more damn sent on this project. $200+ is way too much to spend. unless somebody can help me figure this out, the project is dead.
Don't give up hope dude, aside from the inverted colours the picture is perfectly intact. There's a high chance you might stumble on the solution and get your colour back.
I am a case modder trying to be a portablizer. Will get there one day.
