HDMI to DVI + Analog Audio. Need help Xbox 360

I am doing a project right now and I need to use the HDMI port to go to the DVI port on the monitor. Easy enough, just use a cable. However, I need to use analog audio and I am having some trouble. I grounded pins 20 and 24 and the motherboard for the audio/video ports. I am using the small optical/analog audio cable that comes with the Xbox 360 elites. I am not sure how to wire the analog red/white ports to the single audio input on the monitor? Can anyone help?

I am using the same monitor as Ben did for his second Laptop.

But I am trying to do the monitor configuration he used in his 3rd for the Elite:

So basically the connection between the red/white analog on the xbox analong/TOSlink dongle and the Westinghouse 17" monitor audio in connection.

I used an RCA to 3.5mm cord, which works, but If anyone knows how to directly wire everything please do let me know. Thanks
