Guys the Joker is a crazy, lying, selfish manipulative psychopath. When he was explaining his scars, there are two reasons he changed the stories. Either ones, he did it to get the most shock out of who he was telling it to, and to mention self-mutilation to Rachel is far worse then his whole ma-and-pa version. The only other reason is that he flat out doesn't remember, the guy has a very loose grip on reality, forgetting something simple like that would be like forgetting where you left your keys.

I'm hoping that in the sequel to this they bring in Bane. I know, I know he's been done. But this time around they seem to be getting back to basics and working with the original personalities (not just kiddy versions). I'd like to see a guy that when he juices up he gets twice the muscle mass (little bit like the hulk transformation), and if they want to really make it good they should have Bane break Batman's back at the end.

And last thing on the whole Bane idea. NO, I repeat NO black mask and dog collar. He looked like a S&M sicko when they did that.

Well, I saw it again, IMAX this time. Saw it with my family this time, and my mom HATED it.

Also, a tip: when in an IMAX theater, don't sit three rows from the front and off to the left.

The movie was great. I thought the Rachel Dawes switch was a little off-putting at first, but got over it fairly quickly. Harvey Dent's character is spot-on, and Ledger's portrayal of the Joker is disturbing and brilliant. I chuckled at Bale's "batman voice", but I didn't mind because I think he's a great actor otherwise. The only problem I foresee is the next movie... I mean who are they going to use as a villain next? Please not the Penguin... Hopefully no Catwoman... and don't tell me they're gonna add in Poison Ivy or Mr. Freeze... I don't even think the Riddler will work. I'm stumped to be quite honest...

Did anyone else get psyched about the Watchmen trailer? I read the comic a while back, and it was really good, I recommend it to anyone who likes superhero drivel but also has half a brain and can appreciate the multi-layered complexities about humanity it presents.
IMO the Watchmen trailer looks deceiving to... :? Intriguing, but deceiving.

I read something about Angelina Jolie playing as Catwoman in the next Batman. Not sure of the truth to that.

I finally saw it last night, on IMAX. Quite possibly the best movie this year, it was so frickin' good.

Worse things have happened, I wouldn't put it past Hollywood to cast Jolie in a movie. Especially if they are just going to half ass it to make some money like they did with Batman Forever.
