Seriously, I could do this for days.
Edit:, this game is buggy as crap on my crappy graphics card, but just barely still playable, what is the cheapest I could get a GeForce 8800 for

This creature creator is quite simply one of the most useful and fun tools I have ever seen. You can really make some cool and bizarre looking things which then jump around and react emotionally. It is something of a proud moment when you first hit 'test drive' and see this creature you spent a few minutes working on walking around. I really just hope the rest of the game will be as entertaining.

So what's the objective of Spore anyway? Just make creatures and make them interact with other creatures?

Spore is essentially an RTS/civilization builder game. You start out as a single celled organism and evolve into a creature of your design. Then you become sentient and form a tribe, then a civilization. You can do things peacefully or violently, or somewhere in between. The idea is to take over the world, essentially.

So it's SimEarth on steroids?
The demo runs on my machine just fine at 1280x1024. (3.2 ghz Celery, Radeon HD 2600)
