I downloaded the trial, but of course none of my computers are good enough to run it. They fail to mention the requirements until after you install it.

This creature creator is quite simply one of the most useful and fun tools I have ever seen. You can really make some cool and bizarre looking things which then jump around and react emotionally. It is something of a proud moment when you first hit 'test drive' and see this creature you spent a few minutes working on walking around. I really just hope the rest of the game will be as entertaining.

Spore is essentially an RTS/civilization builder game. You start out as a single celled organism and evolve into a creature of your design. Then you become sentient and form a tribe, then a civilization. You can do things peacefully or violently, or somewhere in between. The idea is to take over the world, essentially.

Black Six, note: You don't stop at the world. Apparently it then involves space travel, other planets, and you then interact with other user's creations.

Sounds pretty daunting, which is probably why it's taken forever.

The demo runs on my machine just fine at 1280x1024. (3.2 ghz Celery, Radeon HD 2600)

I tried the demo. I had quite a lot of fun with it. Also ya the game will have space travel and is coming out Septemebr 8.
