Vista upgrade questions.

Post by Mikeyman64 »

So I have decided that the only reason to upgrade to Vista is DX10, which I think is just reason enough.
So, I have a question, does anyone know the current standings on Vista/DX10/8800-driver bugs? Is it worth it yet?
I've got a nice card, one of the "rare" eVGA 512MB 256b 7900GTOs that I really like, but, of coarse, it's not an 8800 ergo, no DX10.

Even a link to a site with decent info would be nice, I just haven't been up to date with Vista at all.

Ask yourself. Why.

I've already answered that question. The only answer is DX10. And I think it's only just worth it.
Grant it, I would never just have Vista. I would most definitely dual boot and only use it for Vista only games.

No, it's not worth yet. So far DX10 support is slow, bug ridden and useless at best.
