psone + genesis 2 = no audio?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

psone + genesis 2 = no audio?

Post by myname2 »

Soo.. I have a thread in the genesis forum, and I need help.

I have the composite and ground hooked up, video works fine.

My audio is the problem, I have right audio on pin 2 and left audio on pin 3, and both grounds hooked up ( all of this is slot two)

On the genesis end, right audio is on pin 9, and left audio on pin 8, and its grounded.

Soo.. Any ideas why I can't hear anything?

Did you jump the headphone pins on the back of the PSOne screen motherboard? You need to do that to get audio from anything but the PSOne. I believe they're labeled HP-1 HP-2 and HP-3...

Thankyou. Those are the ones near the bottom by where you can input the video and audio right?

And I'm assuming I can just put a glob of solder across them?

I think that should be in the screen info sticky haha.
