I think school is cool as long as you don't have too small or too big of a school. My school has a pretty large school district (40 miles from end to end), but we don't have as many people as you'd think because we're in North-east Wisconsin. I've enjoyed school, but I've learned that it's because I do well. People who don't do well (for the most part) are the ones that really dislike school. I've never really had any problems. I've only gotten like 4 B's in my whole high school career (I'm in 11th grade; junior).

I think it's really hard to make a choice between the three.

P.S. Someone mentioned the classes they're taking, so I thought I'd mention my classes for next year: AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Senior English, AP Calculus, College Credit U.S. History, Men's Choir, Symphonic Band, and probably Japanese III.

AWW COME ON!
how come every other school ive seen has a japanese class!!!???

my school doesnt even have metal shop! and it only offers latin, french, spanish, and german for languages! we have about 3000 kids in my school, most of them stupid. why? because the schools around here are horrible and poor. when i lived in pennsylvania, i liked school, everyone there was smart and i fit in.

i hate the hell out of my high school. were not even allowed to use the computers!!!! and half the teachers dont even know how!!!!!!!!!

Very impressive. I took AP US History and Spanish IV last year, I'm not big enough into them to continue to AP Modern European or AP Spanish, same with the sciences, I prefer the more mathematical ones as opposed to the practical, although I still took BioChem, which is almost a combination, but not. Oh, and I have no musical abilities whatsoever.

much, much better. We have a [insert doctor evil voice from Austin Powers] fricken laser beam [/dr. evil] and when I say a laser beam, I mean a graphic arts class with a laser engraver. Not only that, but the library is full of eMacs free for student use, and about 50 iBooks if you ask nicely and the eMacs are taken. Oooh, and all the classes have a projector.

I have a witness, too. Goes to these boards from time to time. I'll have to tell him about this :)

There was a levy to increase the tech budget in the district in the 90's back when the economy was really strong and the effects were finally starting a couple of years ago, by the way.

My school is trying to be more high tech, but failing miserably. We too got projectors and smart boards in around a third of our rooms this year. The problem is, with the exception of one lab, our computers are 2 gHz Celerons with 256MB of RAM running Windows 98 or worse, as in, those are the best ones, but some are worse. The one lab got brand new computers this year running XP Pro, but they're still low on RAM, you can barely use Photoshop in them. Our CAD comps are the worst though, don't even make me go there....
*Shudder.*

Man my school sounds like dragonhead's. We have computers but they have 64mb of ram and are 1 ghz PIII. They try to run cad in desing and drwing a wonder why they lock up  . its not in the gettho persay, but half of our district is. There are 5 tralier parks within a 1 mile radius from my house and two welfare motels within a 10 mile radius. I wish I went to Buell's school. Plus I could see Buell everyday :P

Damn your schools dont know what the hell their doing.

My school got a grant and bought P4 like 1.5GH computers all running XP pro. I cant argue its a great improvement as before we had 16bit Macs in the class rooms, P1 in the high school computer lab and P3 in the library. Its just they dont know how to manage it. I heard they took out all the tech teachers in it, one of which was my IT techer in middle school who as far as I can tell is the best computer leriate person in the school.
Seems all school districts cant be trusted to make sencable desions when its about computer/technology.

Hey Gannon tell me how it goes with the project. I'd like to show it to some stuck up people that think Windows is still hot stuff.

you sure it was an emac, not an imac? I didn't know that they made emacs at 733MHz. Also, you may want to try a different emulator, as I have gotten a GB emulator to run on a 25 MHz 486 way back when without any major problem.
