You'd be raising video and audio clock, plus many other things out of spec. If it did boot (unlikely) it wouldn't work with a 50 or 60 Hz TV. You'd need to use a downscan converter and a whole bunch of other messy crap to get it working properly. And since the NOAC is so horrifically inaccurate as it is, I couldn't relate to putting too much work into that. Esp. with the low cost of a real NES.
It reduces lag and loading time it takes for things, I dont know maybe even speed up saving games.
